Thomas Weaver was variably shown as a farmer or agricultural labourer in census records. His death certificate gives his occupation as farmer. He was found dead in a field on 4th January 1874 aged 75. An inquest was held on 8th January 1874 by Coroner Samuel Craddock.
Mary Ann was the daughter of Henry Morgan and his wife Sarah. He was baptised 13 July 1761 at Winford and buried there on 11 March 1831 By 1881 Mary Ann is shown as an Annuiant (Annuitant - in receipt of annual pension or income) and has a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren living with her. This census also gives her birthplace as nearby Ubley rather than Winford. Mary was 85 when she died of old age. |
